Sergei Demin

Sergei Demin is a Siberian-born, Netherlands-based multidisciplinary artist working at the intersection of sound design, technology and experimental music. He focuses on the 'weirdness' of synthetic voices and the 'un-human' quality of modern communication. In his current practices he's mixing human history and machine future by bringing a medieval instrument Hurdy-Gurdy and 'uncanny' voices of text-to-speech engines together.

In 2016 he moved to The Netherlands and currently resides in Heerde, Gelderland.
