Embarking on this artistic exploration, my journey began after immersing myself in Armin Van Buuren`s world through his YouTube reality show, `Mr. Perfect`. The show offered an intimate glimpse into the life of a man who had strived for perfection in his career, shaping his path toward the `commercial`. It became evident that Armin`s trajectory was not without sacrifices - among them, the potential compromise of his artistic identity.

Commercial music is a universal language that unites people from diverse backgrounds. Its catchy hooks and relatable lyrics have the ability to evoke emotions, spark memories and ignite collective joy. It becomes a soundtrack to life`s moments - from celebratory dance floors to reflective road strips. The reach of commercial music is staggering, shaping trends and cultural touchpoints across the globe.
However the pursuit of commercial success can sometimes come at the cost of artistic individuality. The desire to create hits that resonate with the masses might lead to a compromise of originality. Songs can begin to sound very similar and destroy the musical landscape.
Inspired by `Mr. Perfect`, I decided to dig deeper into Armin`s music. I listened to his old and new songs, trying to find hints of his real musical centrum. Every tune, the way the music was put together and the rhythm of each beat became like a puzzle where the struggle between keeping his artistic self and embracing commercial success was laid out.
